A view from the heavens

Antico Casale Tiravento is the perfect place in Passignano sul Trasimeno. The view of the lake from the hills complemented by the olive trees, horses and wild landscape is absolutely fantastic and very beautiful. We couldn't have chosen a better place and felt very welcome by the lovely hospitalilty of the staff. The apartment is also very clean and feels like a second home. If you are looking for a complete get away but still within the vicinity of the town/city then Antico Casale Tiravento is the only place to consider in Passignano. We loved it so much that we will consider coming back again next year. We were also extremely luck as it was completely sunny with no cloud in the sky for the duration of the entire visit. What a beautiful place!!!

A lovely place

Beautiful

Antonella takes great pride in making you welcome. The breakfast which she prepares herself is delicious and well worth having. The apartment was immaculate and spacious. The villa is reached by a steep unmade road but the views of the lake are beautiful once you reach the villa. The taxi service is efficient and we used it if we didn't want to drive into the town in an evening, where there are plenty of good restaurants. Loved it and didn't want to leave.

Stunning view, great place

The view from the house on the lago trasimeno is incredible; the apartments have all possible comfort and are very clean and spacious. Antonella takes great care of her guests ( eg when we arrived she had made sure the fridge was filled, anticipating we'd be hungry after a long drive) and makes wonderful breakfast. Wonderful place

Perfect

Antonella made us very welcome. She takes great pride in helping her guests enjoy time at their beautiful villa but never invades on your privacy. The breakfasts are delicious. You definitely do not need to eat during the day after such beautifully prepared food. We used the very efficient taxi service if we didn't want to drive. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We were sorry to leave.

The best place for touring in Umbria.

Everything was excellent. We stayed here so we could easily tour places in Umbria. This worked very well. Antonella is a gracious host with a caring attitude for her guests. The apartments are newly renovated, clean and spacious. There is a common laundry area with an outdoor clothesline that we used several times. The views over Lake Trasimeno are wonderful. Don't miss the breakfast option!

Comfortable house, breathtaking view

Loved the view!

A clean and modern apartment with a fantastic view of the lake. The apartment was well kitted out for self catering and had good wifi. It is located on top of a hill on the edge of town. There is a pizzeria and supermarket about a 5 minute walk away. The town centre and restaurants were about a 20 minute walk away.

Wonderful

Beautiful, clean, pampering, and perfectly located, couldn't ask for nothing more than this. Antonella, our host was gracious and attentive. The view was beautiful. The grocery store two minutes drive away. With a fully equipped kitchen and a lot of running space for the kids. A classic central locations for Umbria and Tuscany but still private and peaceful. We miss it already.

Perfect place to visit Umbria and Tuscany

Perfect stay for one week with small boy. Location for visits to Perugia (20min) and rest of Umbria and also Tuscany is perfect,close to motorway but in a quiet neigbourhood. The premises are in perfect place overlooking Lago Trasimeno and Passigiano with all necessary shops just 1 km away. Antonella (host) made her best to make our stay absolutelly superb- fresh bread and pastery in the morning, any wish concerning accomodation and equipement fulfilled in seconds. Appartment is newly furbished, clean and with all necessary equipement.
